Articulating Jib Cranes
This type of jib arm has a second pivot point along the arm and a fixed suspension point at the end.
The second pivot enables the jib arm to lift and rotate within a 360° arc.
The footprint of the arc is limited in some areas by the way the arm articulates around the central joint, but it does allow the arm to operate in a way that will enable it to miss obstacles that an ordinary jib might collide with.
SWL: 25 to 500kg
Arm length: up to 4m
Rotation stops optional.
Electrical cable supply – usually runs along the arm.
